Peter Faber

When asked why he was so impressed with Peter Faber, the co-founder of the Jesuits with St Ignatius:
'[His] dialogue with all,' the Pope says,' even the most remote and even with his opponents; his simple piety, a certain naivet√© perhaps, his being available straight away, his careful interior discernment, the fact that he was a man capable of great and strong decisions but also capable of being so gentle and loving.'

From pg 27 of My Door is Always Open, interviews with Pope Francis, by Antonio Spadaro.
