The physical universe, as we now understand it, cannot be accurately
described via static or boxed-in modes of thought, for that which enlivens
all things is dynamic, imperceptible, limitless, and -- I believe with all
the science of my heart -- holy. We are steeped in and assailed by
this holiness even as we study it. We have no objective distance from
it and never shall.
